Ashton Hall is now the home of the Lancaster Golf Club. It was once owned by a geezer named Lord Ashton who also built Ashton Memorial . Vicki and I ran across it on one of our Sunday walks. We walked from our house down to the canal and then ended up at Ashton Hall before eventually finding our way to a pub called the Stork in Condor Green.
