A rather convenient place for a pub, wouldn't you say. The tide kept rising while we had lunch here and when we went to backtrack further into the mainland, that end of the road had been cut off as well. This forced us and several other larger vehicles to take a narrow little dirt lane that went straight up and down an enormous hill. Cars were trying to get into this village from the other side and the lane was far too narrow to allow anyone to pass each other so traffic backed up rather quickly. It was all fairly entertaining from a cyclist's point of view.
