The village of Underbarrow. Vicki and I stayed at a B and B in a working farm called Tranthewaite Hall just outside of this town. The view is from the lane which leads to the farm. Actually the view is from somewhere above the lane because of the hedges on either side. To take this photo, I am balanced on tiptoe on the seat of my bike with both it and me leaning against the hedge. Very precarious, it was. Danger was everywhere on this trip.
