We've got a bar of soap in the house that looks like a big slice of lemon. I picked it out. I hoped it would smell all lemony and invigorate me in the shower. Unfortunately, it just smells like soap. Tastes like soap too. Yuck!
It does produce a lemony yellow lather though. But this isn't a good thing. The lather turns the water yellow and I have to keep checking I'm not inadvertently peeing in the shower. It's most disconcerting.
Anyway, that brings me to my advice for today. Make sure you smell (and taste) your soap in the shop before you bring it home. And try to pick a colour which doesn't resemble a bodily fluid. That is all.

Your advice is appreciated more than you will ever, ever comprehend. You undoubtedly saved the marriages of several of my friends who were going to get yellow soap in their stockings.

No worries. Just like to help. The yuletide season is upon us and everyone could use a little help with gift-choosing I suspect. I would also advice against giving large mammals as pets. These can be very messy and difficult to take care of.
And it's not just the Lions and Tigers and Bears that kind be awkward. Buy the wrong species and you could get in trouble with anti-slavery laws. I.e. Never Ever give someone a lawyer or Pop Star for Christmas.
Meerkats make wonderful gifts. They are small, and exceedingly entertaining. As are badgers. Except with badgers you need to wear asbestos gloves.
Don't give people camels. Unless they have a dog run in their backyard. And like spit. Otherwise stick to meerkats.
Sorry, I meant wolverines, not badgers. Although badgers are nasty too, Wolverines are way worse. Never buy ANYONE a wolverine.
